Sunday could not have been a more beautiful day for a wedding to celebrate the love of Chelsea and James. Between the sun shining, ocean breeze, and gorgeous view, everything about the day was perfect. Chelsea and her bridesmaids got ready in the Dunes Club bridal suite, and there could not have been a more gorgeous and spacious room to get ready. They exchanged many kind words and laughs together. Their soft pink dresses, paired with the gorgeous florals, with touches of navy, went perfect with the coastal feel. Everything about the setting at The Dunes Club was such a great place to gather all of their loved ones, from near and far. It was super special for Chelsea, seeing how she used to work at the venue in her teenage years. She had so many fond memories there and always imagined her wedding there. Chelsea and her bridesmaids stepped outside for some portraits, looking absolutely gorgeous on the grounds. Chelsea then tucked away as James and his groomsmen arrived early to the venue for their portraits. Then everyone got ready for the ceremony to begin. Chelsea decided to have a First Look with her father before the ceremony and it was the absolute sweetest.

Their vows were shared on the green, overlooking the ocean. There were beautiful stories told, scriptures read, and vows exchanged. It never gets old, hearing the story of how they met on a mountain in CO. Thanks to James being at the right place, at the right time, and his kind heart, he was able to help Chelsea back down from the mountain and give her something warm to wear. Feels like something you’d hear in a movie, and they could not be more perfect together. These two are forever doing adventurous things together and are up to great challenges.

The excitement when they finally kissed was tangible! James couldn’t stop smiling and looking down at his wedding band. They hugged, laughed, chatted with their guests throughout cocktail hour, and in between taking portraits. There was so much love and joy around. The guests then were escorted inside to the reception space for their grand entrances to begin! Between the special dances, the speeches, and prayer, it was such a beautiful way to start the night.

After dinner, they snuck out to take more portraits together in front of Chelsea’s stepfather’s antique car and then going down to the beach. It was the perfect way to take a few minutes to themselves, take in the beautiful ocean, and take some beautiful portraits on the beach together. They headed inside for some cake and joined the rest of their guests who were already dancing away. The rest of the night was history!

Chelsea’s First Look with her dad was so precious. These get me teary-eyed every time!

She also gave him his boutonniere and a personalized handkerchief. It was the absolute sweetest!

Time for the ceremony to begin!

James’s main request was wanting to wait to see Chelsea for the first time, till she walked down the aisle. Seeing his teary eyes were so sweet!

It was such a beautiful day.

They even had a live painter during the ceremony!

Then everyone went immediately into cocktail hour.

Then it was time for the reception to begin!

Followed by the special dances with their parents.

All of the speeches were heartfelt, humorous, and so honoring of the bride and groom. They really are such a special couple!

Ashley, Chelsea’s sister, has such a deep connection with them seeing how she lived with the couple. She gave us all the inside details!

Jame’s brother, was Jame’s best man and give such a special speech as well.

After dinner, they took off their shoes and headed down to the beach to get some last portraits together by the ocean.

Forever on adventures together…

They headed inside for some cake cutting, that Chelsea’s stepmother made for them!

Then it didn’t take long before many of the guests were on the dance floor!!!

Haha, she’s the best!

Thank you so much for letting me document your gorgeous day! I’m so beyond grateful to have been able to be a part and be there to see it all unfold. You two are so loved! I remember initially chatting, which seems like forever ago, and couldn’t wait for your special day! So beyond excited for this next chapter in your lives. I cannot wait to see y’all again for Ashley’s wedding later this year. Praying so many blessings over your marriage!!!
