Last Friday was the most beautiful day for a summer wedding. There were a light breeze, beautiful clouds, and the sun was shining. Jill and Danny got ready on different levels at a nearby rental house in Mystic, Connecticut. All of their bridal party and close family got ready there too! Her bridesmaid’s dresses had a variation of all different shades of deep navy and coastal blues. Seeing them hung all together was so beautiful, especially paired next to her gorgeous wedding dress.

Every detail was beautiful. Jill’s mother was able to secretly let me incorporate her wedding gift of a pair of earrings and bracelet that she had not yet given to Jill so that they could be in her the photos of Jill’s details. After hair and makeup were done, all of the bridesmaids went outside in their cute matching pajamas, so they could pop a bottle of champagne together. Jill’s bridesmaids got into their dresses and hopped into the trolley so Jill could put on her dress and finishing touches at the venue’s bridal suite.

Danny and his groomsmen, along with his and Jill’s dad was downstairs hanging out and having drinks together before it was their turn to get picked up from the trolley.  They of course were super relaxed, playing video games, and having lots of laughs together while they helped one another get ready.

Jill put on her dress in the bathroom to get the reactions of all of her bridesmaids and they did not disappoint! Their jaws were dropped and tears were shed. She looked absolutely stunning! Her smile literally lights up a room. She put on her finishing touches and then had her first look with her father. It was the sweetest and of course, more tears were shed.

Danny arrived with his groomsmen and then was placed in position for his first look with Jill. As she walked towards him, tears were already starting to come. His reaction was priceless and so sweet. He couldn’t stop expressing how beautiful she looked! They headed right into portraits together, then with their families and bridal party. As guests started to arrive for the ceremony, they went back inside to freshen up and get lined up for the ceremony.

The ceremony was in the vineyard and was so gorgeous, as they had a beautifully decorated floral arch. Jill’s sister & Matron of Honor, was the officiant for the wedding as well. It was really special to them and just everything about the ceremony was hard to keep it together. When Danny read his vows, it was hard to not tear up. Their love and softness towards one another are so special. Just glancing at their bridal party or guests, they were either laughing or crying happy tears. They were blessed with a beautiful prayer, followed by Danny breaking the glass. They exchanged rings, kissed, and were officially announced as husband and wife!

They were greeted with drinks and lots of hugs from their friends and family. They got a glimpse into their beautiful reception space, seeing it untouched and decorated. Everything looked amazing! They then mingled and joined the rest of their guests at cocktail hour. When it became time for the reception to begin, their parents were announced, followed by the whole bridal party, and then the newlyweds! They danced on into the reception space and the joy in the room was tangible.

Dinner was starting to be served and they went right into the speeches by their parents and then maids of honor and best men. So many heartfelt words for the couple, it was evident from all of the speeches how loved and special their love for one another is.

The best! The bridal party got tucked away and when it was time for guests to arrive.

The clouds were perfect that day, it was such amazing scenery and a gorgeous ceremony site.

The live keys were such a beautiful touch to have as the guests arrived and for the processional.

They snuck away for a few moments together to soak it all in and take some more special portraits together while cocktail hour got started.

The guests walked right over for cocktail hour underneath the outdoor tent and mingle throughout the vines.

The appetizers from A Thyme to Cook were absolutely incredible.

Jill and Danny got to see their beautiful reception space before their guests came inside. Everything looked amazing!

Time for the reception to begin!

These two danced their way in and the excitement was too real!

It’s that marrying your best friend kind of love.

They went right into their first dance.

After the bridal party headed to their seats, it was time for speeches.

Jill had both of her sisters as her Maid and Matron of honor, who shared heartfelt words.

All of their parents shared a bit of their heart and love for the couple. It was so sweet and beautiful to see how they both honor one another’s culture and heritage.

Danny’s best men gave us such a great insight into the early stages of their relationships and how special the couple is.

After the quick rain shower passed and their guests were enjoying their dinner, the couple snuck out to the vineyard to get a couple of minutes to themselves and some more portraits.

The sky was so beautiful, even a little rainbow came out!!!

They’re so cute together! 

Then they headed back inside to get the party started.

They went right into the special dances.

Such a sweet bond between Jill and her Dad.

Danny has one amazing mama!

They couldn’t start the reception without the Hora!

And the rest of the night was history, everyone danced the night away!

Thank you so much for choosing me to document your special day!!! Everything turned out absolutely beautiful and it was well worth the wait! You two are so loved and cherished by your friends and family. You both have a heart of gold and make your families so proud! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen so many tears shed at a wedding ceremony. You two have something really special and I pray that you continue to cherish and love one another till you’re old and gray! Congratulations again, hope you’re enjoying Turks and Caicos!!!
