On March 7, 2015, Deb & Tom decided to celebrate their beautiful love at the Berkshires Garden Gables Inn, in Lenox, MA. It was a gorgeous estate, despite the bitter cold winter season. About 50 of their closest friends and families stayed in the Garden Gables Inn for not just a wedding day, but a wedding weekend! Deb & Tom met each other through a mutual friend who thought that they would be a great fit. Well apparently she was right! After they had dinner together, they hit it off and have been together ever since. The special part about their love story is that they both were widowed and have only daughters. It is so touching to see them find new love after something so tragic, both understanding one another’s struggle as a single parent. Although Tom never got to have a son, he truly is an amazing man who does a great job caring for all of his women!
Deb got her hair done by her father, who just so happened to be a hairdresser!
You can tell how proud of a mother she is.
It was precious watching Deb’s father tie Tom’s bow tie..
Tom thought it would be fitting to have some Brandy and cigars with his Grooms(wo)men… aka his daughters. haha
The simplicity of these bouquets is breath taking… so glad I was able to help and put my hands to work in making them. I’m in love with white roses and baby’s breath.
A special moment where time stood still in prayer…at the little Church on a Hill.
The redeemed love the two have for one another is so beautiful…
Tom’s youngest daughter sang “God Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts
As she sang so beautifully it brought tears to her father’s eyes.
All of their daughter’s… bridesmaids and grooms(wo)men each poured their color of sand for the unity ceremony… representing two families, coming together.
Now the moment you all have been waiting for!!…..
The family flew in from England and all over the U.S to celebrate! They were a fun crew…
The bitter cold didn’t stop Deb & Tom from taking these gorgeous photos at the elegant Saint Ann’s church…
As the girls left to get warmed up for the reception, we were able to sneak in a few more intimate moments of alone time before the party got started…
This place made you feel at home.
Time for the toasts… the girls did such a great job sharing how happy they were for their parents. Both have sacrificed so much for their children and they are excited that they get to be cared for now.
They couldn’t be more excited for their parents…
They were filled with Joy after listening to all the funny and heart felt words people shared…
Their first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Pfiefle!… time stood still.
These three started the dance party and the rest is history…
Grandma just couldn’t help herself… she was too excited!
This day was unbelievable beautiful. It was the coziest wedding I have ever attended. You felt the warmth and love from all of the friends and family! I was happy to have been able to meet all of the relatives from England, where I was warmly accepted into the family.
Deb & Tom, I am so excited that you both have one another to grow old with. I cannot thank you enough for giving me my first opportunity to shoot a wedding, it meant so much to me. Though I am already critiquing myself, these pictures are the most sentimental to me. Thank you. I love you both!
Much Joy,
Charity HOPE
