Friday evening was nothing close to your average Friday night since Kristy and John decided to capture their love and season of engagement at The Air Ventures Flying School Airport!!! John is currently a pilot and it seemed like the perfect, unique, idea to shoot their engagement session there. And especially since they have traveled many adventures together!

They met while Kristy was visiting a friend in Miami and John happened to be living there at the time. Little did they know that they had mutual friends from Providence, RI. Well it was no doubt that they hit it off ever since. They went to the restaurant, Siena, on Federal Hill for their first official date and have been enjoying lots of amazing dinners, drinks, laughs, and great conversations ever since. In June of 2016, they officially started dating!

Kristy decided to take the leap of faith, and joined John when he had to move to Arizona for work. John was certain that if she was willing to move across the country to live with him, that she was the real deal and someone he already knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

It was December 28, 2018 when John felt there wasn’t anymore time to waste and surprised her with turning a late Christmas gift package, into a cute, unexpected moment between them! What she thought was just an empty gift receipt, turned into seeing her BEAUTIFUL engagement ring!!!

Kristy and John are beyond cute together. There is such a sweet contentment and joy between the two. Besides Kristy being absolutely GORGEOUS, I see why John was attracted to her independence and drive. It’s great to see how supportive and caring he is towards her!

They spend most of their time with their two Yorkies; Lady and Lola, shopping, going to the casino, movies,  and traveling. John’s favorite place he had visited was Aruba and hers was Dominican Republic! Spending time with their families and friends is really important to them too. Bringing their families together on their Wedding day is what they are looking forward to the most!

We are just a little less than a year away from their wedding day next year and I cannot wait!!! I know it will be nothing short from amazing! But until seeing their beautiful wedding photos, let’s just swoon over how FABULOUS they looked together at their engagement session!

I still can’t get over how small RI is and the fact that you, John, even knew my husband from childhood. And obviously us having some mutual friends will make your wedding day that much more fun and I cannot wait!!! We are going to create even more beautiful photographs next April!
