August 31, 2019 could not have been a more beautiful day for Lauren and John to tie the knot! It was the perfect sunny, breezy day to end the month of August. Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready at her mother’s home. All of her details were absolutely GORGEOUS! Everything from her dress, invitation, shoes, jewelry, and garter, were simply stunning. She found the most perfect gown from Alexandra’s Boutique that had such intricate details, and looked amazing on her, it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Johnny and Lauren made sure to give one another a card with a special gift before the ceremony.

Their ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Church, in Stonington, CT. It was a beautiful time of honoring their holy covenant that they made to one another and seeing them vow this commitment in front of their loved ones. Johnny’s reaction to seeing her come down the aisle was priceless. He could not stop raving afterwards at how GORGEOUS she looked, and his initial thoughts when he first saw her!

After the ceremony, their bridal party and immediate family headed to Wilcox Park, in Westerly, RI to take their portraits. This was the PERFECT place to capture their good-looking group. Their was a nice breeze, water near by, benches, and so much greenery! Lauren looked absolutely AMAZING and with her long veil, so of course, we created MAGIC!!!

Then they headed to attend their cocktail hour, followed by their reception at the Hilton- Mystic. The room was decorated so beautifully with all of the same colors and touches that were incorporated from the start of the day. Everything just flowed so beautifully! All of the speeches by the Best man, Maid of Honor, their fathers, and Lauren’s brother, were heartfelt and beautiful. It was so great getting to hear more about their story from everyone’s perspective. It is undoubtedly evident how much Johnny is a sweetheart and loves Lauren. He simply adores her and makes sure to honor the amazing woman she is!

These two met at their place of employment and have been doing this thing called life together ever since. Since Lauren had gone to college at Salve Regina, she loves everything about Newport and so we made sure to have their engagement session there. One of the Newport Mansions was where Johnny decided to propose to her two days before Christmas. Hearing him share about his thought process and all of the effort he put into the proposal is still etched in my memory and is just a reflection of his heart, but also the beautiful intention that every woman deserves from the man she loves.

Lauren undoubtedly was so calm, full of so much grace and poise. Her smile is infectious and she just has this way about her that makes everyone around her feel valued, appreciated, and loved! Lauren + John are both amazing, genuine, people individually, but I know together, as Mr. and Mrs. Vincent, they will have an even greater impact on those around them.

Lauren had each bridesmaids name on their hangers, they were adorable.

Then her childhood best friend and Maid of Honor, Lexi, helped her carry her beautiful dress as they made their way to the ceremony!

Johnny also read his card and opened his special gift from Lauren. Let’s just say he was very EXCITED about it!

Then we were off to the Hilton Mystic for the reception!!

Lexi gave such a sweet speech about the story of her and Lauren’s friendship, and how Johnny now fits into it.

Then Lauren’s brother shared some kind words.

Lauren’s father then shared so many sweet memories he had with her and the first time he met Johnny. It was too precious!

Their cake was absolutely GORGEOUS!!!

And the best way to end the night… Dessert + Dancing!!!

Then everyone partied and danced the night away! The amazing Sugar band definitely kept the night full of life and everybody on the dance floor!!!

These two! It was because of photographing Felicia and Kenny’s wedding that I met Lauren + Johnny! I am so extremely grateful for them!!!
