Another beautiful summer evening spent with an amazing couple, Amanda and Jeff, at Beavertail Lighthouse this past Thursday. It couldn’t have been a more perfect night to capture their love. Ironically, Amanda and Jeff are from the same town, graduated from the same high school and college, but never actually saw each other until they met through mutual friends one summer. Their first date was on a double date golfing at Crystal Lake. They absolutely love golfing together and it is something they continue to bond over. They officially started dating the summer of 2018. Their most memorable and favorite date was their first Valentine’s Day dinner at Camille’s, especially since it was a quiet dinner on the top floor that they had all to themselves.

This past Christmas Eve they were out doing some last minute Christmas shopping and decided to stop at the church on their way home. They were walking and talking in the shrine outside and then all of a sudden Jeff got on one knee. Amanda was super surprised and of course, said, “yes!” They both were extremely happy and excited for this new step in their journey together. Christmas Eve will forever have an extra special place in their hearts!

The bond and commitment they have with one another is super sweet. They just know that what they have is beautiful and special. They think the same, say the same things at the same time, and enjoy the same activities. They love cooking together, bowling, watching movies, going for walks, and of course, golfing too. They both were committed to a sport for a long period of time. Amanda figure skated for 13 years and Jeff played tennis for 15 years. Amanda is a middle school teacher and Jeff is a software engineer. They both love their jobs and are hard workers, while still make time for the little things in life, making sure to spend quality time together. Amanda loves and admires how thoughtful, kind, and selfless Jeff is. Jeff loves her eyes, her hear kind heart, and loving she is to others too. They are a little quiet at first but both are genuine, amazing people who love hanging out with their friends, spending time together outdoors, and traveling together. They are looking forward to going on their honeymoon to Hawaii!

The excitement is building up for their wedding day next year and they are looking forward to their first dance as a married couple the most! They cannot wait to see all of their family members and friends on the dance floor. Their engagement session just gives such a sweet glimpse into their upcoming wedding day, that will be filled with so much love and laughter!
