Katie and Chris finally tied the knot at Pomponessett Inn, in Cape Cod. This place is near and dear to Katie, as she and her family grew up spending summers there, in the Cape. She got ready right on-site in a cabin across the lot, surrounded by her bridesmaids, mothers’ and sisters.  After their hair and make-up were done, they made sure to pop some bubbly, as it was time to get dressed and really get the day started. They got into their coastal blue dresses, then helped Katie get into her gorgeous, Caroline Castigliano dress. She put on her finishing touches and headed outside for her First Look with Chris.

Chris looked sharp in blue and his reaction to seeing her was the sweetest. His face lit up in fascination at how gorgeous she looked. These two have only had eyes for one another since they met back in driver’s ed. Now they have accomplished so much together after moving away for their undergrad, both pursuing degrees in law, and are an amazing partnership, currently based in Boston. There was not one thing negative anyone could say about the two of them. This wedding was long-awaited by their loved ones and everyone truly was so excited to celebrate the two of them!

Their ceremony was held right in the Popponessett Inn and an amazing Harpist play while their guest’s piled in. It was so sweet to hear about their love story in the ceremony and there were definitely tears shed from their mothers. After they exchange their vows they headed down to the beach to capture their portraits and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful evening. The sky, the ocean breeze, and just the joy that surrounded them by their close friends and family. 

The reception space was transformed and their guests were allowed to sit in the beautifully decorated, cozy space. Everyone waved their napkins and excitement as the couple was introduced officially as husband and wife! They went right into their first dance which of course was beyond sweet, as they definitely put in practice to make their dance extra special. They sat down as Katie‘s two sisters gave a speech together. noting how there wasn’t even one embarrassing or negative thing to say about Katie. She truly is a gem and a beautiful person, one that Chris knows he is so lucky to call his wife. Chris’s brother also shared some heartfelt words and laughs about memories with the two of them, and he too could only express great things about the both of them.

They finished up their dinner and cut their beautiful cake. Then Katie shared her special dance with her father, followed by the mother-son dance between Chris and his mom. It was so beautiful to be surrounded by the dark, blue sky, and the moon was even in sight. Their guests eagerly joined them on the dance floor for the rest of the night! It turned into the most beautiful wedding day, a special day that none of their guests could ever forget.

Thank you so much for allowing me to document your beautiful day! It really was such a dream to be a part of. Everything turned out so beautiful and there was just so much joy surrounding you two. I am so beyond honored to have met you both! I will continue to pray so many blessings over your marriage, in all that the future has for you two. Y’all are amazing and I hope you two are having the time of your lives in Hawaii right now!!!
