Twelve years ago, right below The Dunes Club on Narragansett Beach, Rhode Island, is where Casey asked Becca to be his girlfriend. That same venue is where these two celebrated their love and officially tied the knot on August 15, 2021, the day after their dating anniversary. Their wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect for a summer wedding, as the sun was shining, and the ocean view was simply amazing. Becca got ready with her bridesmaids at The Dunes Club’s bridal suite before they hopped on a trolley for the ceremony that took place at Becca’s childhood church, in Providence, RI. Her bridesmaids looked so beautiful in their seafoam green dresses, paired with their florals, that had incorporated pinks and touches of soft colors. Becca’s bond between her parents and twin sister is too sweet for words. The little moments between them while she was getting ready were so precious.
Becca and Casey shared a First Look outside of the church before any guests or bridal party arrived. That private moment between them was really sweet and you could tell how any nerves they had just went away after seeing one another. They had some beautiful portraits taken of just the two before the rest of the wedding festivities unfolded.
Their wedding ceremony truly was a special one. Their love story was shared and they were given a very special gift from Becca’s parents. They received a Papal Wedding Blessing, which was signed by The Pope! Becca & Casey’s faith is so foundational to their relationship, which was why it was important for them to have their wedding ceremony at the church. After the ceremony, they hopped into a vintage car and met up with the rest of the bridal party back at The Dunes Club. They shared a celebratory glass of champagne and were ready to start celebrating with their loved ones. Everything about this time was beautiful! With the summer breeze, beautiful view, amazing bridal party, and loving parents. They truly couldn’t have asked for a better time capturing portraits before the cocktail hour really began.
They mingled & interacted with all of their guests as they arrived. The reception started off with such high emotion and fun, which carried throughout the whole rest of the night. They went right into their First Dance, which was really special, you couldn’t help but smile along with them. Afterward, Becca danced with her father, followed by Casey with his mother. The speeches from her father, their priest, the Best Man, and Maid of Honor were unbelievable. There was nothing bad you could say about these two genuine, loving people. There were many tears shed as you looked around at the tables throughout the speeches.
Becca’s father surprised all of the guests by singing a song live, while Casey and Becca danced. It was the sweetest thing ever and not something you witness at most weddings! After their meal, they took off their shoes and snuck down to the beach while their guests finished up dinner to capture them by the ocean. It was the perfect night, with a beautiful pink and purple sky. It definitely was one of those take a deep breath and soak it all in kind of moments.
When they got back, they cut the cake and the rest was history, as they danced the rest of the night away! The live band really brought the energy and had everyone on the dance floor. It was a night that no one could ever forget!
Becca and her bridesmaids got ready in the bridal suite at The Dunes Club, which was the perfect place to capture all of her details.
Such a beautiful invitation suite by Paper Moon Stationary.
Love the personalized hangers for all the bridesmaids.
Becca and Casey decided to do a First Look to have some time alone before the ceremony. It was really sweet & so perfect for them to get some beautiful portraits outside of the church before the ceremony began.
Their bridal party joined them and it was time for the ceremony to start.
Something about the emotion caught in black & whites.
As a surprise from Becca’s parents, they were gifted a Papal Blessing from The Pope.
That “Just Married” joy!
They hopped in their vintage car together and headed to The Dunes Club for their cocktail hour.
Casey and his groomsmen looked so sharp in their black tuxes.
Favorite one of this good-looking group!
I adore each of their close relationships with their siblings.
Such sweet families they both have come from. I can’t believe they have known one another since Becca and Casey’s high school days!
Cocktail hour was so relaxing and fun. Their guests definitely had a great time and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect!
They had to get a picture of everyone from La Salle Academy! That’s where their love started and where Becca currently works. Such a special picture!
They got a quick peek into the reception space before all the guests were seated. It looked so gorgeous!
The reception space was decorated so beautifully.
Love when wedding cakes are decorated with real florals. Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Mackisey!!!
They went right into their first dance as husband and wife. They’re too sweet together!
Then Casey had to formally dance with his amazing mother for their mother-son dance. And Becca dancing with her father was just too precious!
After they got to their seats, they went into the speeches and toasts about the amazing couple.
Of course, Becca and her sister, Maggie, were in tears after their Dad’s speech.
I’m not sure if it’s because Maggie is Becca’s twin sister or the fact that she had so much time to prepare the speech, but it was one of the best Maid of Honor speeches I have ever heard. It was so thoughtful and well written.
Casey’s brother’s speech was absolutely amazing as well. He did such a great job of sharing stories, accurately describing who Casey is as a person, and how perfect the two are together.
Cheers to the beautiful couple!
A blessing prayed over dinner, then Becca’s dad surprised all of their guests by singing, “The Way You Looked Tonight,” by Frank Sinatra.
As their guests were finishing up dinner, they headed down to the beach for a quiet moment together and for some portraits down by the ocean.
The sky was absolutely beautiful!
Time to head inside for the party to begin!
Clockwork Boston definitely did an amazing job that night. They truly had everyone on their feet!
Yes!!! When they joined the dance floor, it was a wrap!
They ate some yummy wedding cake and danced the rest of the night away!
