It was such a beautiful Saturday afternoon to capture the sweet love + family of Catherine and Michael at Beavertail Statepark, in Jamestown, RI. Michael + Catherine are blessed with 3 beautiful children + felt it was most definitely necessary to have them be apart of their engagement session! But I definitely made sure to have some alone time for just the two of them 😉.
Michael + Catherine have known one another since high school, but it wasn’t till Michael came to a summer party at her brother’s house in 2011, where the they really hit it off. From hours, upon hours of flirting that night, it was evident that these two were into one another. So much so that Michael turned to Catherine as he was about to leave and said…. “Whats up with your friend, does she have a boyfriend?” (haha). If you know Michael, this is definitely typical of him to make such a comical, sarcastic remark (lol). And apparently Catherine seemed to get a kick out of it, seeing how these two have been together for 7 years this upcoming fall!
They have had their fair share of ups + downs, like any couple who is growing + learning one another. Becoming more secure in their relationship, developing deeper trust, + keeping open communication has been key to get them to where they are today! It has been such an honor being personally friends with them + watching them grow together over the years. I definitely couldn’t pass up being apart of the proposal, where Michael surprised Catherine at his own Birthday celebration. It was so cute!
They truly enjoy parenting together + seeing how each kid interacts with them differently. Their favorite memory of course involves their babies; when they took them to the Bronx Zoo + their family vacation to Disney World. One of their favorite restaurants to go together is Mt. Fuji, and they love a good dinner + movie together.
They will be getting married in the fall of 2019 and look forward to growing old together. They can’t wait to officially be ‘One,’ + be truly committed to overcome all of the trials + tribulations of life TOGETHER. They know it will teach them to love better, love harder and grow stronger!

I pray you both continue to grow together, continuing to lean on one another through every season of life. So thankful that my own marriage has brought you guys into my life!
