Chelsea Armstrong and Janell Matthews decided to tie the knot Friday, October 9, 2015, in Westerly, RI! So glad we had time spent before their special day when they met me at Roger Williams Park for their beautiful engagement photos.  It was a beautiful day that held the rain until we were inside for the reception. The fall colors were out and ever so beautiful.  Since Chelsea loves the beach so much, it was only fit that their decor was nautical and beachy. Their vibrant colors popped of coral and a sea green.  The ceremony was held on Watch Hill Beach, followed by their reception at the Westerly Yaht Club. Their whole day was full of love and laughter, surrounded by all of their friends and family. There were so many beautiful and fun moments captured! Here’s how the day unfolded….

Chelsea’s stunning dress was purchased at her aunt’s boutique Denise Pelligrino/Melissa Ashley Brides in Westerly, RI.

Her beautiful jewelry made her look even more like a princess…

I fell in love with her long braided hair, with roses, it looked amazing. Perfect for the beach!

Of course her mom and older sister had to make sure she was just right and ready to shine…

All I can say is “wow” … Chelsea, you look AMAZING.

The bride was surrounded by her beautiful bridesmaids, holding the amazing bouquets by Blue Butterfly Florist.

The windy shore of Watch Hill Beach couldn’t stop these two from their joy; as they shared their vows, said “I do” and sealed their loving commitment with a big kiss!

Their friends and family expressed so much love and excitement for the newlyweds!

They of course would not be here today if it was not for their amazing parents, leading and guiding them.

I loved their bridal party; filled with family and close friends.

Its only necessary to hid their eyes from these two kissing, I mean, who wants to see that?! haha

We snuck away to take some romantic moments of just the Bride & Groom….absolutely stunning.

As windy as the shore was, nothing could replace this perfect scenery! Beautiful.

I’m in love with how the wind naturally blew her dress. Breathtaking!

We left the beach and ended up at the Westerly Yaht Club, where there was a fantastic view of all the sail boats.

We snuck in a few more intimate photos on the docks before the reception started!

As the two families have become one, we had to get a group shot! So beautiful.

The first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Matthews… they couldn’t stop smiling!

The guests made sure to keep dinging their glasses so they would keep smooching… haha

The Matron of Honor and Best man did a great job of making them laugh… that’s what siblings do best!

This cake was spectacular… just look at it! Gorgeous.

They decided to play it nice to each other, I was expecting a cake fight… haha

Nothing gets me more choked up than the Father Daughter dance. She loves her daddy!

No denying the bond Janell has with his mother… brought tears to my eyes.

Chelsea of course had to dance with her mama… “I Hope You Dance” by Lee ann Womack, which just so happens to be the song between my mother and I.

I had to end the post with these hilarious facial reactions of grandma dancing with Chelsea’s cousin. haha. Priceless.

All I can say is this whole evening was a delight. There were so many fun and sentimental moments! The whole day was beautiful. I enjoyed every part of it! I cannot wait to see where life takes Chelsea and Janell. I know their will be more moments for me to capture when they start a family. This is only the beginning. I love you both! May your marriage be filled with love, compassion, a listening ear, lots of forgiveness and grace for one another. You guys are awesome. xoxo.
