What started out to be a sunny day, turned into an overcast evening, but that did not stop Shauna and Tom’s anniversary session at Bold Point/Crescent Park  from turning out beautiful. Shauna and Tom’s lives crossed a couple years ago when Shauna needed to take one more class to fill her schedule at Rhode Island College (where her and I met :). She couldn’t decide which one to take so she put all of her options in a hat, and her dad drew one out; Physiology it was! (I do not miss taking that class lol)
Tom, Shauna, and some friends were talking outside of that class, where he mentioned that he was attracted to girls with tattoos and piercings. Shauna was completely oblivious that she fit into that category haha… Well eventually Tom built up enough courage to ask her to the movies. Although she was hesitant and uneasy at first, she went and a connection was made. After that, Tom kept pursuing her and showed her how much he cared. One way was that he dangerously would try to catch up to her on the highway to get her attention before her exit (crazy, but cute lol).  Tom has a very special way of bringing the best out of Shauna, allowing her to relax and be her true self. It is beautiful to see.

This session made me all excited, as if I were a kid again, since the colors, and Shauna’s beautiful red hair, reminded me of ‘The Little Mermaid!” #Disneyclassic. We started out at Bold Point Park at a few spots they particularly liked…

Next we went down to the beautiful beach at Crescent Point Park.

Well Shauna and Tom, thank you for a fun evening! I had a blast. Even though there wasn’t the sunset you had hoped for, these turned out amazing. I pray you both enjoy your anniversary and keep celebrating your milestones! We were able to capture the fall last year, summer this year, and hopefully can shoot for winter next year?! 🙂
