Saturday turned out to be the most BEAUTIFUL, June day, for Ashley and Mike’s Wedding! The sun was shining, the warm air, paired with a nice breeze, was so great, seeing how there had been so many rainy days leading up to it. Mike and Ashley met at Rhode Island College, in one of their mutual classes. It was through working together in class where their friendship grew and eventually evolved into a committed relationship. Being mutually great friends with Mike’s roommates back in college, I remember the early stages of dating for Ashley + Mike, so it is surreal to be able to be apart of their special day!

Ashley and her bridesmaids got ready in the bridal suite, at the Wannamoisett Country Club. Everyone looked absolutely stunning with their hair and makeup done by  Calma Salon Beauty Boutique. She was also surrounded by her sweet mama, sisters, and nieces and nephews too. Ashley’s ladies were in soft, pedal pink dresses, and the groomsmen were in navy blue suits. All of the pretty details brought everything together so nicely! Ashley looked unbelievably stunning in her open back dress, with its beautiful beading! This beautiful soul is a fitness instructor and there is no doubt, that you would be inspired just by looking at her!!

The ceremony was held at Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, on Newport Avenue, in Pawtucket, RI. It’s architecture was unbelievably beautiful! There was such a peace and reference to God’s divine covering and blessing over their marriage. The ceremony was very sweet and a great reminder of what marriage is all about!

Many laughs, cocktails, and tears were shed through out the rest of the day. All of the guests followed the bridal party back to the Wannamoisett Country Club for cocktail hour and the reception. So many beautiful moments and pictures taken during this time! There was no doubt how much these two are loved by so many! It was as if every guest was seen and was noticed. These two love on others around them so well and you could just feel all of the support for their covenant together.

The fact that Ashley’s Matron of Honor’s were her sisters made it extra sweet! I love how close they are and how they gave an intertwined speech and toast together. Mike’s groomsmen just adore him! I was shocked at how close he was with all of them by the way they interacted with one another. But of course, his best man made us all laugh, giving us the inside scoop into Mike’s life. Overall, their whole bridal party was such a lively bunch! They all had the BEST entrances to the reception!

Between all of the special dances and just sweet moments between them, the evening was nothing short of pure love! I think one of my favorite parts was sneaking them out of the reception to take some photos at sunset. Because of how well these two love and care for others, it was such a gift watching them be the center of the attention for the day!

Then it was time for the beautiful ceremony to begin! It was held at Michael’s childhood church, Saint Teresa of the Child. It was so unbelievably gorgeous!

Then everyone headed inside to attend the last bit of cocktail hour before the receptions began! Michael and Ashley went on a little cruise on a golf cart before they went in to celebrate!!

The Wannamoisett Country Club looked absolutely beautiful decorated in their wedding colors!

They shared such heartfelt words. 💕

Michael’s best man kept making us all laugh, bringing up so many of their childhood memories!

Then it was time to cut the cake!

It was so emotional…😭✨💕

Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your BEAUTIFUL wedding day!!! It meant the world to me to have been there. I still can’t get over how much time has passed since we all met and you two first got together! Thanks to good ol’ RIC! It was such an honor to capture your love and commitment to one another! I’m so happy it is official and y’all are ‘ONE’ now!!! So beautiful to have watched how you both love and accept one another for who you are, all while you allowing one another to grow and evolve over the years. The way you two love each other is so sweet, but also, the way you love others is so honorable. Praying you are enjoying that honeymoon! SOAK. IT. ALL IN.
