Boston’s Seaport district made the perfect setting to photograph Katie & Chris’s love. There was nothing but great weather, a beautiful city view, and a bright blue sky. They met at a driver’s ed class in Wrentham, Massachusetts. In their teenage years, they would always go on group dates with their friends, so their first date happened to be with a group of them at Applebee’s. Chris’s friend mentioned to Chris and Katie that they had the same type of dog, Wheaten Terriers. Katie thought that was a crazy coincidence and was a sign, and they have been together ever since! After High School, they both decided to attend college in Washington DC and lived there for a couple of years. After college, Katie decided to pursue law closer to home, in Boston, which then Chris also found himself deciding to do so as well. Now they both have become attorneys and are currently living and working in law firms in Boston. Katie works in investment management law and Chris works on patent law. Katie loves and appreciates Chris’s sense of humor, intellect, and caring nature, while Chris admires how hardworking, caring, and beautiful Katie is. They are undoubtedly an intellectual couple, but also fun-loving, who prefer quiet nights at home making homemade pizzas (every Friday night in fact).

While visiting Nantucket during labor day weekend last year, they spent some time at Cisco Brewery with some of Katie’s family members and cousins. Afterward, they decided to go back to their hotel to get ready for dinner. They ended up taking a little detour beforehand to watch the sunset on the beach. Chris had the little stop on the beach planned all along and he popped the question as the sun was setting and they shared their private moment together! Katie of course said, “Yes!” and was in total shock. Interestingly enough, right before he was going to propose, Katie said to herself “this would be a great spot to propose to someone,” because she didn’t even see it coming! September 6th, 2020, will be a day they will both never forget. These high school sweethearts are looking forward to building a family and spending the rest of their lives together. They are even more excited to see their families after a long year and a half of quarantine and cannot wait to celebrate with them back on the beach in the Cape this summer!

Katie, you are stunning!

They nailed it! Absolutely beautiful!!!

So gorgeous!

Just something about these in black and white. Timeless!

The perfect location for them!

Such a beautiful ring!

Yes, Chris!

The courthouse as a backdrop was beyond perfect for them.

We ended with the beautiful boat in the background, the perfect spot.

Katie and Chris,

Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this beautiful season in your lives. I am so honored to document your love story and am beyond excited for this summer! It is going to be unbelievably gorgeous and the perfect setting for you two. You two are so kind and look amazing together, I cannot wait to spend the day with y’all again soon! Soak up these next few months of being engaged!!!

Much joy,

Charity Hope
