It was a beautiful evening on the coast, in Newport, Rhode Island, where Michelle and Jonathan decided to capture their love. Between the gorgeous mansion at Ochre Court and the ocean view at the Cliff Walk, there couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for this beautiful pair. Michelle and Jonathan started dating in August of 2011. They met while working at TF Green Airport in Warwick, RI when Michelle was a cashier at the time for Wolfgang Puck and he was a technician for the airport. Jonathan used to pass by on his lunch break to check Michelle out and the two had serious crushes on each other since they first laid eyes on one another. They first connected outside of work when Michelle attended a nightclub that Jonathan frequently went to. He spotted her from across the room and reached out through Facebook to get her attention. Their first official date just so happened to occur while hurricane Irene was in town. In order to attend Jonathan’s sister’s birthday party, Michelle had to drive through the storm to make it there. After she arrived safely, they bonded the rest of the night amongst his family, and the rest was history.
Michelle loves Jonathan’s laughter, his corny jokes, his family-oriented nature, and his intelligence. She admires how far he’s come and how far he will make it in life. Jonathan is currently employed as a Senior Lead Technician at TF Green Airport. Jonathan admires Michelle’s kind eyes, her smile, and her caring nature. She currently works at the Ascensus Government Savings Plan. They have such a fun-loving relationship and are constantly joking around with one another. They enjoy traveling together, working on projects around the house, landscaping, cooking, or simply hanging out, watching a movie.
It was on Christmas Eve in 2016, when Michelle and Jonathan were spending time with Michelle’s family where Jonathan decided to take the next step. She had already known that the proposal was coming that holiday season, but nothing could have prepared her for Jonathan’s sweet proposal. Watching him propose to her, with the ring she picked out in hand, in front of her family, and seeing his eyes light up with the biggest smile on his face was such a magical experience. She will never forget that moment they shared and felt it was so perfect.
This beautiful couple cannot wait for their wedding day that will be happening this summer in the Dominican Republic! They are looking forward to every aspect: the pictures, the dresses, and having an amazing time with their family and friends. But even more importantly they are looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together, having children, and building their dream home in the Dominican Republic. They currently have a sweet, Yorkshire Terrier pup named Rocky that had to be a part of their amazing engagement session too!
Absolutely stunning!
Rocky is so cute!!!
Timeless.
There are so many beautiful areas! I can’t get over how gorgeous everything turned out.
The way her dress flows is stunning.
It’s those in-between moments.
So beautiful!
The sun was setting at the perfect time, so gorgeous!!!
So pretty.
They did a quick outfit change and we headed down to the Cliff Walk. Getting some shots down by the water, when the waves were crashing in was the best way to end our time together.
Simply breathtaking!
